The lawsuit says the staff, “failed to properly manage her condition, failed to call in physicians that could treat her, failed to ensure she had proper medical care and allowed her to deteriorate to the point that she suffered a seizure and cardiac arrest which set her on a downhill course and led to her ultimate death.” Among the claims in the lawsuit is the staff did not recognize Halle was in shock when she arrived despite having information from other providers that was suspected. The Hendersons are seeking monetary damages for emotional distress and medical and funeral expenses. A trial is set for Davidson County Circuit Court next month. The Hendersons and attorney Gary Smith declined interviews Friday.
